Blood Hill
Location
City: Alexandria
County: Licking
State: Ohio
History
The hill near present-day Alexandria, Ohio, ran red with the blood of the combatants during the French and Indian War--or so they say. Now known as Blood Hill, it is the site of spectral reenactments of the battle, the sound of muskets, the smell of gunpowder. The ghosts of those killed there may still be present, if you can figure out which hill exactly was the site of the battle more than two hundred years ago.
